Annual Scholarship Program

Ag Plus 2018 Scholarship Guidelines

There will be four (4) $1000 Scholarships available to four students that meet the following criteria:

  1. The student must major in an agricultural field that includes forage, turf or landscape related programs
  2. May be enrolled in a two-year, four-year or trade program of further education
  3. Scholarships will be available to any high school seniors
  4. Also available to freshman, sophomore and junior college students enrolled in Ag related field
  5. Applicant must demonstrate both leadership abilities and academic performance
  6. Must live in the Ag Plus trade area
  7. Applications are due by March 31 each year with the winners named by May 15
  8. Applications can be obtained at Ag Plus locations
  9. Grade transcipts and reference are required with the application

 

Selection Procedure

Applications are to be sent to the main office of Ag Plus, Attn:  Sharon Sands
at P O Box 306, South Whitley, IN  46787 by March 31 each year.  Selection
committee consists of five area producers that will meet and make the
selection each year.  Ag Plus managers or employees do not serve on the
scholarship committee.
 

THE DEADLINE FOR THE AG PLUS SCHOLARSHIP IS QUICKLY APPROACHING!  TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP, MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR APPLICATION TURNED INTO THE SOUTH WHITLEY LOCATION By SATURDAY, MARCH 31ST.

Applications that are postmarked by March 31st will be eligible for consideration.  You may also email you application to moreilly@agplusinc.com up until 11:59 p.m. on March 31st to be considered for the scholarship.

Payment

Payment will be issued to the applicant and the post high school institution
once Ag Plus has received proof of enrollment and a picture of the applicant
to be used for publicity.
